Our annual retreat in the beautiful Rocky Mountains at Lake Louise is just around the corner! It is sure to be a weekend you won’t want to miss, full of exciting adventures, encouragement, great teaching, and an amazing opportunity to build relationships!

Understanding alternate perspectives is becoming an essential part of living in our increasingly globalized world. A big part of this is understanding the perspectives of various faith groups – how do they view themselves in the world? What is their meaning and purpose?

Before the launch of a new semester, 29 students from across Canada joined together for the Campus Harvest Institute. It was a powerful time as we built relationships with one another, received impartation from amazing speakers, grew in our relationship with God, and were inspired to live missionally on our campuses!

Join together with other Christians this Thursday, September 23 as we gather to KICK OFF the new school year with worship & prayer.

Classes start Monday, September 13th at the University of Calgary. This year there are 29,500 students on the campus, with 6,500 of these being new students! 25% of these students have a first language other than English. The nations truly area coming to us!

You may have noticed the necessary re-routing last Sunday!  This was because of construction that has been going on at the UofC, causing Campus Drive to be closed between May 1 and August 1.  

What? school’s out and it’s time to celebrate with a BBQ!  Come eat, celebrate the end of exams, and congratulate those who are graduating this year!

Campus Harvest began in the US in 1990 with a mission to “Revolutionize Campus Ministry by Mobilizing the Local Church.”  Soon after its inception, Campus Harvest started a one week training program for students called the “Harvest Institute”, which for the first time ever is coming to Calgary! Say WHAT?!?!  This year’s Campus Harvest conference (took place last weekend) saw more than 220 people water baptized, more than 200 people accepted or rededicated their lives to Jesus, and 250 people felt led to full-time ministry!  GO JESUS!

This Sunday, February 7th, Pastor Wagdi Iskander will be joining us to share his story. A couple of us had the privilege of hearing his story at the Congress back in November. It is super powerful & a Sunday you definitely do not want to miss out on!
