This morning I woke up with the song “How He Loves Us” in my heart. This will come as no surprise to Marlo as it has been the song we have sung together over and over throughout this past 6 weeks. The opening lines of the song are:
He is jealous for me, loves like a hurricane.
I am a tree bending beneath the weight of His wind and mercy.
When all of a sudden I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory.
And I realize just how beautiful You are and how great Your affections are for me.
And, oh How He loves us …
Would you join me in prayer today? May the love of our Sovereign God will be more tangible than ever before. May the afflictions of Marlo, Jean, Nathaneal, Jessica and Jeremiah be eclipsed by the glory of the Almighty God. May His awesome presence surround the Abalos family. May the goodness of God be revealed in a mighty way on this very special day, Jeremiah’s 2nd birthday.
