Typhoon Ketsana, known in the Philippines as “Ondoy”, has had devastating effects on metro Manila and the surrounding area. Dumping more than an entire month’s worth of rain in a single day, metro Manila and the surrounding area has reported losses of more than 350 people, and more than $100 million in damages.
This is our opportunity to reach out to those in need by lending financial aid. Money provided will be used to purchase necessary items such as clothes, bottled water, canned goods, baby formula, bread, and medicines. Our sister church in Manila – Victory Christian Fellowship - will provide on-the-ground assistance by distributing the purchased goods to families who need it most.
