Touchdown in Belize

The team arrived safely and without incidant today. Many team members were running on less than 3 hours of sleep. We met at the airport at 4:30. We flew to Belize through Houston so we cleared both American and Belizian customs. When we arrived in Belize we were greeted with a wall of heat and humidity. We are staying on the In His Will property in a couple open air Cabanas. We’ll be falling asleep to the sound of the jungle.

The team is looking forward to working with the kids tomorrow. We will be running boys club and girls club. Keep posted for some details on the activities in tomorrow’s or Sunday’s post. We will also start the foundation of the preschool. We will spend the better part of the day laying down steel rebar.
