January 6, 2021
Do you recall last January what you imagined 2020 might have in store for you? What were your plans, hopes and desires? Whatever our plans and hopes were for 2020, I doubt any of us saw what was coming!
Thinking back, I find it intriguing what God revealed to us last January when we connected for our consecration week. Within our community, He was clear about preparing us to enter further into promise and inheritance.
As you may know, biblically, the land of promise is a wonderful reality He has for us all. It is full of life, transformation, provision, rest, peace and joy. However, the promise land is not without giants to rout and 2020 revealed more than few giants for many of us to face.
It is one thing to read and learn about how to overcome the giants of our hearts and acquire our destinies. It’s quite another to experience the process of overcoming giants and taking hold of the inheritance God has for you.
God knew what kind of preparation was best for each of us given the unknowns 2020 would reveal. He also knows what He has for us as we enter 2021.
I can’t speak for everyone, but I can confidently say, I am paying close attention to what He has to say in the weeks ahead knowing there are loads of adventure to come.
Do we have ears to hear ?
I think yes!
Save the date: Our week of Prayer & Consecration is Jan 11-16 2021. Details to follow next week.
Consider setting aside all the ‘weapons of mass distraction’ that week as we take time to listen.
As we gather together soon, here is a quick word of encouragement: “I’ll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. When you come looking for me, you’ll find me. Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I’ll make sure you won’t be disappointed.” Jeremiah 29:10-13 MSG
Cheers,
Brant
