Freedom Tree Pub Night Fundraiser

We want to let you know about an event that Tara, Ellen and the Freedom Tree team of educators have been working on. The fun pub night will take place on Saturday, April 29th.

Freedom Tree is a familiar name around UChurch. Its founder, Tara Eruteya, has been partnering with individuals from UChurch for over a decade to reduce maternal mortality in the West African nation of Sierra Leone. Since its formation, Freedom Tree has been a people movement, with hearts being stirred and talents being offered toward building clinics and schools, designing and implementing prenatal classes, raising awareness about injustice, educating teachers and empowering girls.

Ellen and a team of educators will travel to Sierra Leone in July to continue this exciting work!
