I Am Overjoyed

This past month, a few people gathered together to hear what God was saying in regards to worship within our community. Here is what God revealed: 

My kids, I am overjoyed watching you come together to worship. Your genuine desire to gather together and praise me openly fills my heart with love, so continue to worship me in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).

Did you know that you are interceding as you worship? It is one and the same. It is also much like applying the primer before the coat of paint; you are preparing and making way for miracles! The more of your hearts you give to me in worship, the more comfort I am able to pour back into you.

Thank you for bringing worship back to the simple thing I intended it to be, especially in times of hardships. It doesn’t have to be perfect, just simple. Where some of your family are struggling: praise. Where some are thriving: praise. Worship me through the highs and lows and you will experience more of my presence. I am always with you, so celebrate our intimacy together with song and dance. Join in with all creation and worship! (Psalm 148).
