Coffee is Taking a Break!

  • Categories: Posts
  • Date published:

Hi Everyone!

Starting in May, if you like your morning coffee during the service, please make sure to bring some with you, as there won’t be any provided.

Our team is in transition, and at the moment, we don’t have anyone to organize the pickup of coffee, so it gives us the opportunity to shake things up a bit!

Coffee will return in the fall, after a much-needed break.

Feel like this is something you’d like to help with? For now, we appreciate the offers to pick up coffee, but we’re really looking for someone to coordinate this ministry area. If you’re interested, please let Keeley know! 403-383-7444 or by EMAIL

Rwanda Student Missions Trip

May 2 -26 a team of students and new grads are headed to Rwanda to work with various projects of HOPEthiopia.  They’ll have the chance to share love and life with the young men residing in the correctional / rehabilitation facility on Iwawa Island, as well as with a group of orphans and refugees that Ralph and Glenda have built relationship with.  They’re going with the vision of “letting their light shine” not from their own strength, but that which the Father gives them, however that looks day to day on this trip; serving in whatever capacity is needed!

Please join us as we cover this team in prayer – it will definitely be a life-changing experience for all involved! If you wish to partner with the team finically, please contact Jesse Ward to see how to do so.

Seeing Beyond : Releasing Faith

What do you wish to see?

This is a question that God often asked of his prophets of old and continues to ask today.  Whether Elisha asking that his servant’s eyes be opened or Caleb seeing the possibility of possession that his compatriots couldn’t, it is our ability to “see beyond” that which we view with our natural eyes that will release the needed faith in this hour to apprehend all that God is releasing.  Join us for our 7th year in the greater DC are a for a time of exhortation, activation and revelation.

Free registration and housing for students (limited space available)

  • Date published:

Wednesday, March 16  at 7:30pm you are invited  to come join us at the Delta Lodge @ Kananaskis for a “Taste & See” night!

The Father Heart “A” School here in Kananaskis wishes to extend an invitation to anyone interested in coming up for an evening session – either to get refreshed (perhaps you have been to an “A” school), or to get a peek at what the school is like and learn a bit more about the revelation of the Father and the Son. It is a bit of a drive so no worries if your busy or have schedule pressures – we just wanted to let you know your welcome to join us

You will meet some great people and enjoy a nice ride into our “Dads” backyard!  (better than TV anytime!)

Because it takes about 45-60 min to drive from Calgary to the lodge (depending on where you live)  we moved the evening session start time to 7:30pm to accommodate those desiring to make the drive out through the beautiful Rockies after work.

If you can come out, we are in the Bronze Conference room at Delta Lodge. If you have GPS type in this address  1 Centennial Drive, Kananaskis Village, Alberta T0L 2H0 Canada

If you need more directions or have a quick question, give me txt 403.397.6058  – Brant

Sierra Leone Fundraiser

You are invited to partner with the Sierra Leone long-term team financially!

Every Sunday from now until the team leaves on April 15, you will have the opportunity to participate in their fundraising initiative. It’s simple, pick a tag with a number on it, donate the corresponding amount in dollars, and receive a fantastic photo as thanks for your gift.

Grab one tag at any amount, or combine tags for a larger donation – it’s up to you! However you participate is appreciated, and will build towards this team’s initiatives on the ground in Sierra Leone, as well as laying a foundation financially for future trips, that you might be on!

Come talk to the team after the service for the following Sundays and hear their hearts for this trip.  Can’t donate right now, no problem!  Come see how you can support the team in prayer while they’re away!

Journey of Compassion – Nepal

Katie Reding and Alex Benz, along with Katie’s friend Julie (all nurses!) will be leaving Calgary on February 25 to join with 20 others from around the world on Impact Nation’s Journey of Compassion to Nepal.  The team will be conducting medical clinics, which Katie has been asked to lead (go Katie!!) and the main emphasis of the trip will be to help the communities rebuild after the devastating earthquake they experienced last year.  Some of the ways they will be participating, outside of medical care, will be building shelters, setting up feeding stations, distributing water filters, praying for the sick, and sharing hope and life through Jesus to a devastated and isolated group of people the foothills of the Himalayas.

Please pray for Kaite, Alex and Julie, as well as the rest of their team, as they head on this adventure, that they will be able to demonstrate the love of our Father to everyone they serve!
