Are you looking forward to a great service in the park this Sunday? We certainly are! Just a reminder that we will be meeting at Edworthy Park, picnic sites 4 & 5 – the same ones we were at for the picnic in June. The weather is forcasted to be great, +25C and sunny!

The Sierra Leone mission trip has been a great time for God to move amoung the team and in the people they touched. Today the team is in Freetown debriefing and processing the experience of the last week and a half. Here is what their team leader wrote about their last day in Sierra Leone:

UChurch’s Sierra Leone team has arrived safely and is busy at work!  Here is an update from several of their team members:

The city Wide Prayer Rally is a prayer movement that brings together Christians on a quarterly basis to mobilize the concentrated power of prayer. The purpose of the City Wide Prayer Rally is to seek God’s blessing on lives, families, churches, communities and countries around the world.

Today, a good chunk of our UChurch family flies to the other side of the world – to Sierra Leone! There, they will be partnering with a great ministry called New Harvest Ministries and working alongside many amazing believers.  

Heads up: beginning on Sunday July 4th, UChurch will be meeting in different locations on Sunday mornings. Check the listings below for topics and meeting places for UChurch Summer Sundays, or download the flyer here.

An exciting opportunity has emerged for the summer!  Our good friend (and fellow UChurch-er), Wendy Robertson will be hosting a group about the foundations for healing. Discussion topics will be drawn from the DVD series on healing by Peter Horrobin, international director of Ellel Ministries.

The Every Nation North American conference is just one year away, and is going to be a good one!  From July 26-29, 2011, one hundred Every Nation churches from across North America will gather in Orlando, Florida (yeah, baby!).  The conference theme is “DREAM: Capturing God’s Purpose for your Life, Family, and Mission”.

After our Sunday morning celebration on June 27th, plan to stay late to hang out with some good friends, eat some good food, and watch the movie “Rust”, starring our very own John Hutchinson!  All proceeds from the event will go to the Ethiopia missions team, so bring the bills and change you’re willing to …

Ya’ll know Danielle – UChurch’s multimedia girl extraordinaire – well she’s in Ghana and she’s going GREAT!  Here is her most recent update:

This summer, people from our family will be travelling all over the world to be the hands and feet of Jesus…to Haiti, South America, Montreal, Toronto, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, Ghana, Rwanda, Greece…how cool is that?!?!

What an incredible day it turned out to be for the 2010 UChurch baptisms!  Gorgeous weather, amazing friends, and 15 radiant people who publicly dedicated their lives to Christ.  What a day!  Check out the following for some pics from the 2010 UChurch baptism!
