Dear Friends,
As many of you know, we (Nolly and Melody) went to Israel in February of last year, where we were astounded by the Lord and the work that He had for us there, even though we went without a plan other than the plan to follow His guiding every day. Many of you have heard our stories of how the Lord used us by His grace. As we prayed for Soldiers in the street, we saw God's glory in them. Then two very special women were brought inner healing through the ministry of Nolly that the Lord assigned her to do. He used both of us to bring salvation and God's transforming power to the shopkeeper and the Rabbi in Jerusalem (the Rabbi going on to lay hands on his fellow Soldier and the Lord bringing the wounded soldier out of his coma). We saw His hand guide us each day, even though we went without an agenda; the first time we went, our hearts were to bless Israel, and Nolly felt particularly burdened to pray for the Soldiers.
God has drawn both of us to return to Israel this year to share the good news of the loving Father we have and His son, Jesus. Although He has not given us the details, our journey is to rely on Him for direction from day to day. The dates are not set yet, but we plan to go in Spring.
Last year, we saw the fields in Israel ready for the harvest, and there were no workers as they left because of the war. We think this is a prophetic picture of the spiritual harvest that is ready to be picked up, and there are not enough workers. Mathew 9:37 says The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few," we strongly ask you to cover us in prayer as we are going to a war zone, and it is not an easy decision to make; sometimes we walk in fear and some time in love but love is bigger than fear.
